| Title: |
Negro Boy with American Beauty Rose |
Description:
What an especially sweet print this one is, and it is taken from an old Victorian image. It's one of those play-on-word prints, with the title of "American Beauty". One can only guess if the artist was referring to the endearing little boy, or if the title is referring to the American Beauty rose he holds. He holds a single long-stemmed scarlet rose and takes in just a hint of its heady perfume. The boy's face is just precious, and he's dressed in period clothes from the 1890's. This laser print on heavy stock fits perfectly into a standard size 11 x 14 inch frame.
