This artwork is by the Victorian artist Emil Aulich. His works are highly prized by china painter today. This study of wispy pink roses in a tall fan vase is especially beautiful. Although the artwork is unsigned, it is unmistakably Aulich. The colors are soft pastels, dreamy renditions of an expertly painted watercolor from the 1890's.
