This spectacular print of creamy white and lavendar lilacs, attended by several lazy bumblebees, is by the Victorian artist, Paul de Longpre. In Victorian times, the white lilac symbolized the virtue of "Youthful Innocence", while the purple lilac stood for "The First Emotions of Love".
