Antique Book Roses From Shakespeare.
c1910 Roses From Shakespeare Catherine Klein Illustrated Book with Poetry Prose Ladies Flowers.Victorian gift book. The cover has a bouquet of C Klein roses. The book flyleaf pages have a green tinted rose pattern lattice pattern. The frontispiece has a color photo of Shakespeare himself, with a cartouche of pink roses around him. Inside are gorgeous chromolithograph color plates with roses, ladies, and more, each couching little tidbits of prose and poetry. The inside pages are in near fine condition.
The exterior of the book is in very good condition. The outside cover boards have a pebbly texture with just a little discolored area on the back cover board.. The endpapers are uncracked and intact, and the text block is tight. Overall size is 5.25 x 6.75 inches.
