French Roses and Lilacs Print by Buchner

This sweet freshly-gathered bouquet of French tea roses and garden lilacs is taken from the works of the Victorian artist Buchner. The details are superb. In Victorian times, the pink rose symbolized that the bearer was An Ambassador of Love, while the white lilac stood for Innocent Love, and the purple lilac meant The First Emotions of Love. Overall size is aprox 10.5 x 13 inches, printed on heavy stock.
